G&P has cemented its place as one of the region’s fastest growing companies after reporting record levels of growth and employment.
G&P have reported an average annual growth of 100 percent over the last four years, resulting in a significant increase in the number of staff employed by the business. Indeed, G&P now employs more than 1,300 people at manufacturing sites around the world, almost four times the number employed just three years ago.
“As our latest results show, manufacturing is still a hugely significant part of the economy both here in the West Midlands and further afield, and we’re proud that G&P’s growing number of staff are playing such an increasingly important and pivotal role through the provision of our quality management services,” comments Dino Kyriacou, chairman, G&P. “We’ve recently received several prestigious accolades which recognise the extent of our growth and these latest figures further confirm the exceptional performance and business improvement benefits we are delivering for our global manufacturing partners.”
Established in 1994, G&P has become the strategic partner of choice for a growing number of global manufacturers where it provides quality management services and solutions. Working closely with manufacturers and component suppliers throughout the manufacturing supply chain, G&P helps companies achieve the highest levels of manufacturing quality through proactive intervention which ultimately reduces waste and unnecessary cost.
G&P recently saved a component supplier £3.5m by stopping substandard parts from entering the supply chain which could have impacted significantly on a major vehicle production line. G&P also helped another premium vehicle manufacturer transform its quality processes, so that its products rose up the highly respected JD Power customer satisfaction monitor.
“While 2015 was an incredibly exciting and successful year for G&P, there are still many areas where we believe our expertise can help other companies reduce their costs and improve their manufacturing processes,” adds Arne Willerslev-Legrand, group managing director, G&P. “This journey is already underway and as part of this plan we will be relocating our global HQ to the prestigious Fort Dunlop location at the heart of the midlands automotive industry later this month as well as moving into new territories including Brazil, Austria and the USA.”
