G&P receives Queen’s Award for Enterprise
Automotive and aerospace quality management experts, G&P, has today been awarded the UK’s highest accolade for business success, winning a 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
The company, which helps manufacturers and their suppliers around the world improve quality, efficiency and profitability, received the award in recognition for its innovation in the creation of its Quality Excellence Model. This proprietary model enables high-value manufacturing organisations to manage complex supply chains, control costs and deliver the right product first time, every time.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded this prestigious recognition from Her Majesty The Queen,” comments Dino Kyriacou, chairman, G&P. “The Queen’s Award for Enterprise represents the pinnacle of business success, so we are honoured that our innovative approach in helping manufacturing companies around the world improve their quality has been acknowledged in this significant manner.”
Established in 1994, G&P works closely with many of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers and their suppliers. More recently it has expanded its services by applying its innovative approach to the aerospace industry which faces similar challenges in managing the production of high quality, safety critical components across a complex supply chain.
Group managing director, Arne Willerslev-Legrand comments, “G&P has experienced fantastic levels of growth and expansion across the world in recent years and now receiving the Queen’s Award is the real icing on the cake to our success.”
G&P’s innovative approach and resulting levels of record growth have led to it being honoured with a number of other significant accolades. Earlier this year and for the third year in succession, G&P was named by the London Stock Exchange as one of ‘1,000 companies to inspire Britain’. G&P was one of only 40 companies in Britain to have been named in the report for the last three years.
Operating from its new global headquarters at Fort Dunlop in the heart of the West Midlands, G&P employs more than 1,300 staff around the world. Staff are often located within manufacturing facilities providing a range of front-line services to control and improve production quality and reduce costs.
