G&P are seeking organised and detail-driven Logistics and Parts Coordinators to support a prestigious automotive manufacturer across sites in Warwickshire. This contract role plays a vital part in ensuring prototype and development programmes receive the correct parts, at the right time, with accurate ordering and data control processes in place.

£28 - £30 per hour (DOE)

  • Initial 3-month contract with potential to extend

This role sits at the centre of programme ordering activity, coordinating part requirements with engineers, maintaining accurate ordering data, and ensuring suppliers and internal stakeholders remain aligned to programme needs. You’ll also help maintain ordering workflows, approvals, and stock transfers to keep development builds moving.

 

The Logistics and Parts Coordinator role is fast-paced and varied, ideal for someone organised, data-focused, and confident managing multiple requests across different teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate parts ordering requirements from engineering teams
  • Populate and maintain data within the RPS ordering system and master databases
  • Communicate supplier feedback to engineers and coordinate amendments or re-orders
  • Ensure approvals are obtained and order documentation is stored correctly
  • Manage stock transfers into programme inventory once parts are received
  • Provide clear status updates to stakeholders on order progress

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience within a similar position, such as logistics, supply chain, or parts coordination
  • Strong computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience managing data and maintaining accurate records
  • Ability to switch between tasks and priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present status clearly
  • Experience working in fast-paced operational or engineering environments

Desirable:

  • Experience with ordering systems (RPS, GPIRS, SAP)
